Kroger bargain baby! $346.95 worth for only $76.15!!!

This is my Kroger loot for the day.  I took advantage of the mega sale they are having and after a few little problems, I got all this for around $76 total.  Here's what I got:

23 small cans of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

12 small cans of Pillsbury Grands Biscuits

5 cans of Pillsbury pizza crust dough

21 boxes of Betty Crocker Potatoes

12 cans of Betty Crocker cake frosting

9 bags of Golfish crackers

8 French's spicy brown mustards

18 bottles of Welch's white grape/cherry juice

12 4-packs of Dole fruit

2 4-packs of Dole fruit parfaits

2 bigger jars of Dole fruit

7 Lipton rice or pasta sides

2 Peter Pan peanut butters

1 Philadelphia cream cheese

2 Tombstone pizzas

2 Breyers ice creams

4 rolls of Scott paper towels

2 cans of Manwich

1 Texas Toast garlic bread

4 boxes of Quaker Chewy granola bars

1 bottle of Windex

that's 150 items for the mega sale, plus I got these other items:

2 Scooby Doo applesauce packs (on clearance)

1 lb of bananas

1 Snapple green tea box

8 4-packs of Cottonelle toilet paper

2 bags of Lender bagels

So that's a total of 164 items for only $75!!  It is $346.95 worth of stuff!!  So I saved 78% !!!  That averages out to .46 per item!!  Now I have to find room for all of this!!

I LOVE IKEA!!!

Wow!!  I love Ikea!!  We went tonight and I just had the best time.  They have so much stuff and it's all so reasonably priced.  I love that most of it is things that help with organization and use less space.  I love it!!!  I have a feeling that my frugalness will go out the window with more trips there!!  At least with every dollar I save grocery shopping, I can use at IKEA!!  I think George Bush should just write my stimulus package tax rebate check out to Ikea, cause that's where I"m going when I get it!!!  I feel so filled with excitement over the prospect of going back!!!  I can't wait!!

Sorry I haven't posted for awhile. Life's just been kind of going on and I just haven't taken any time to post any of it. We're getting ready for Easter. I bought our eggs today to boil and decorate. I have Abby's dress and I need to get a sweater vest I saw at Children's Place for Noah and then they'll be ready. Steve's had to travel alot lately, but that's over now. It hasn't been too bad. I really don't mind it so much now, just because I have such a busy life, the time goes by quick. I finally finished a workbook I was making for the kids in their schooling. I just really wanted to make sure they got some basic Geography lessons in before the end of the year, so we're studying different biomes: tundra, desert, rainforest, etc.., the continents and the oceans. Noah is learning cursive. It's kind of a slow process in the workbooks, but he likes learning it. Abby only has about 25 more reading lessons and then according to the book she'll be reading at a second grade level. She's really doing tremendous there. I'm so relieved!!

We made our first snowman in the big snow last week. He was cute, but didn't last very long. I loved having all that snow. I was sad when it left.




I've gotten some great deals lately and this is a picture of what CVS paid me $10 to take today!!

I paid $.39 in cash and $34 in ECB's and got back $44 in ECB's so I made a little under $10!! I could've made more if I split the orders up more but I had a $15 ECB I had to spend in one order because it expires on Tuesday. I got up early and went before church! I thought I did pretty well!
