I got 4 Aquafresh toothpastes, 4 birdseye bags of vegetables, 4 10ct vials of Excedrin, 2 Pounce cat treats, 2 15ct Totinos pizza rolls, 4 philadelphia cream cheeses, 2 daisy sour creams, 4 general mills cereals (2 reese's puffs and 2 double chocolate cookie crisps), and 9 3-packs of fleischmans yeast. With all my coupons, a $4 off deal for the cereal and a mysterious $4 off from something else????, I ended up paying ......................wait for it..........................FORTY SEVEN CENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Plus I got 9 fifty cents off your next order coupons for Kroger (each yeast packet printed another coupon), and those are good on anything you buy. How awesome is that!!!!

Yea for you I still don't under stand how and when you could possibly use some of the weird things that you guys are buying or recoup the cost of all those papers.Do you do a allot of baking and eat allot of brakfastand I guess if you do both then you use allot of toothpaste, I do think it is neat how you save money and get a real mix of bargains SHOP ON

Ok clarification:
The cereal was on sale 4/$10, I used printables from coupons.com for the reese's puffs and cookie crisp, all doubled to a dollar off each box and then they were having a special if you buy 4 boxes you get $4 off your order, making them $2 for the 4 boxes.
The totinos pizza rolls were 10/10, I used 2 printable coupons from coupons.com doubled to a dollar, so making them free
The aquafresh was also 10/10, we had coupons from a recent insert for .75 which doubled to $1, so free.
The yeast was 10/10, used .45 coupon from inserts, doubled to .90 so .10 each, plus the .50 catalinas did print out for each one I purchased.
The pounce cat treats were .99 and we had 1.00 off coupon from insert, so free
The daisy sour cream was 10/10, used coupon from insert for .50 which doubled to $1, so free
The cream cheese was also 10/10, used .20 coupon doubled to .40, so .60 each.
The excedrin was 10/10 used $2 off any Excedrin from inserts and they let me have the overage. I went back later to a different Kroger to try and get more and they wouldn't let me, so this one may not work at all. My friend said they wouldn't even adjust down her coupon to a dollar, they just wouldn't take it at all, so it may not work out.
The birdeye vegetables were 10/10, I used 2 1.00/2 coupons, making them .50 each bag.
So that's it, and for some reason I got another $4 off my order on top of the $4 cereal deal. I was expecting to pay around $4 when I went to the register and when it came up .47 I was floored!!

Jamie, you did great! I was wondering how you get the Sunday papers for .99 each? Is it a special deal you have with your newspaper company? Right now I am only getting one paper, but realize I could be getting much better deals if I got multiple papers, but I don't want to spend the regular price.

Several local stores offer the paper for .99. I have been able to get it at the same convenient store at that price for the last 3 months. I don't know if it will be ongoing or just something they are doing for the time being. Usually though, somebody in town is offering it at that price, if not a convenient store then a grocery store. I usually 4-6 for decent weeks and 10 on awesome weeks. I always make the money back and then some for the cost of the paper.

Does your Kroger double up to .99? Ours only doubles up to .50. Great deals! I am going to do the cereal deal too, but also get the 2gallons of milk for 1.00 with it!
We also don't get all the same coupons as you do down there! No Pounce or cream cheese, and none of the cat/dog food ones you got a couple of weeks ago.
