This is the bathroom floor in the basement. The bathroom is on the complete opposite wall of where the unworking pump is located, probably 20-25 feet away, so you can see the water just went completely throughout the floor!
Bummer!!! I am sorry for your poor basement! Wet carpeting is the worst. Did any tv stuff get ruined? I feel so bad for you guys. If I lived closer I would have come with sponges tied to my shoes and helped you out!
Oh gosh. I was worried you would electrocute (sp?) yourself barefoot! The water is very clear...like the carribbean. Did you feel like you were on the ocean?

no, it wasn't dirty at all, I was barefoot the whole time. It was just clear rain water. Thanks for toe compliment!!

Wow! The same thing happened to my neighbor yesterday........she was sooo upset!!! I'm glad you were able to get it all cleaned up.
