Last night we decided to get out our fire pit thingy and start a small fire to make smores with. We had been waiting for the weather to be just warm enough to sit outside for awhile and take in the surroundings. I just enjoy so much sitting out on our back deck and seeing nothing but our yard, the forest behind our yard and the kids playing on their swingset. It's so peaceful. It was such a perfect night for setting the fire out too because as the sun was going down it was just a bit chilly and the fire kept us warm. It was a very nice night!! Noah loved his smore, but Abby just wanted to eat the chocolate, she is her Mama's daughter!!

That looks like a ton of fun! You will have some great memories living there. You will also enjoy your summer with all that smores eating!
We don't have a nice open space to look at but one of our favorite things to do is to hang out in the back yard, cook out and sit by our fire pit too! There's just nothing like it........I love being outside! We have alot of cookout parties and cornhole in the spring and summer time! I'm so glad it's almost here again!
me too. We only sit out if we are with other people other places...i don't know why since we have a fantastic yard (my fav thing about our house). I am glad you had fun. Try the girl scout cookie thing next time you eat smores..they are even yummier

Yeah, we like sitting by our fire ring too. Sometimes we go out after the boys are in bed and take the baby monitor with us. We also like our smores made with cookies. Matthew has a name for them Schmookies or something like that. I also like to get Hershey's minitures for the chocolate to try different flavors. Oh yeah, and Reese Cups are a must!!!
